Seamless Campaign Management Platform with Hierarchical Organization and Bulk Editing

Amobee's platform promised unified campaign and inventory management in a single account. Based on internal feedback requesting reduced editing time, I designed a solution with seamless role switching, hierarchical organization, bulk editing, and a modern interface. The solution delivered 85% positive usability feedback and improved user experience metrics on the measurement table by 17%, demonstrating measurable enhancement in workflow efficiency and user satisfaction.

When Productivity meets Platform Chaos

01

Users waste significant time on repetitive campaign management tasks and team coordination due to fragmented workflows across two separate platforms with inconsistent visual styles and unclear table sorting systems.

What User Research Revealed about Daily Frustrations

02

Through comprehensive user research, including direct observation of marketers' daily workflows and team meetings, I identified three critical pain points impacting our internal marketing team's productivity:

Platform Fragmentation Creates Workflow Friction

Disparate systems force constant context switching between platforms, reducing operational efficiency and creating mental overhead for users managing campaigns.

Manual bottlenecks in optimization workflows

Repetitive manual tasks combined with disabled search functionality created significant bottlenecks, preventing users from efficiently optimizing their campaigns.

When information architecture fails at scale

Poor information architecture prevented scalable campaign management and clear taxonomy, making it difficult for teams to navigate and organize their work effectively.

Building solutions through user-centered iteration

03

While the primary objective was to reduce campaign editing workflow time, user research revealed that the core inefficiency stemmed from lengthy campaign search processes followed by repetitive editing tasks. I prioritized redesigning the dashboard table as it represented the greatest time investment in users' daily workflows and served as the foundation for all subsequent editing activities.

I implemented search functionality, table alerts, plan view toggle, and role-switching navigation to address campaign management needs. While users engaged well with core features, they found hierarchy and alert systems confusing. Observing their preference for campaign ID searches to prevent collaboration mistakes, I refined the interface by combining ID columns, centralizing status, removing redundant alerts, and improving the plan mode toggle. This resulted in positive user feedback and enhanced workflow efficiency.
